Timex Bodylink Watch?

by on August 30, 2008

Does anyone own one of the Timex bodylink watches. It has a heart monitor, gps transceiver. It is suppose to give your average running pace, distance and heart rate. I wanting to get one but I'm wanting to know if they are worth the cost and actually work. Thanks

Whether something is 'worth it' or not is only something YOU can determine….

Here is CNET's review:

Quote:
The good: Spot-on GPS; delivers accurate speed and distance measurements; excellent feature set.

The bad: Expensive; clunky multipart system; PC-upload accessory not available; delay in cycling-speed data.

The bottom line: We had high hopes for Timex's GPS training device, but they were dashed by a really bad design.
